About Envoy Financial

Envoy Financial is a non-profit ministry that has been exclusively serving Christian ministries and their employees since 1989.  Those we serve include churches, mission-sending organizations, camps, para-church ministries and other Christian organizations.  We currently serve over 650 ministry organizations and over 8,000 ministry employees in 48 states and 57 foreign countries.

We are a ministry-driven retirement and benefit plan support organization that has automated the employee experience while maintaining the ever-important one-on-one service model.  We provide cost-efficient and marketplace competitive plans for ministries of all sizes.  Our service model allows us to serve ministries with centralized and geographically diverse workforces.

The mission of Envoy Financial is to provide Trusted Advice Along The Way to ministries and their employees in the areas of retirement and group benefits.  Our team of financial specialists is passionate about serving Christians and helping them with their financial stewardship needs.  We all feel called to Envoy Financial and know that our assistance and guidance can help you and free you to focus on your ministry.  Our ministry is to serve your ministry!

Envoy Financial was birthed in the late eighties when Bruce Bruinsma and Bethany Palmer felt called to something larger than their individual private financial services practices.  Interactions with a couple returning from the mission field, a trip to Timbuktu, work with pastors across the country, and other events confirmed the call to exclusively serve Christian ministry professionals in the area of financial stewardship needs.  The ministry later moved to Colorado Springs, CO, where it is currently located and has grown into a team of financial professionals dedicated to serving Christian ministries and their employees.

Envoy Financial derives its name from a verse in Proverbs, which states, "A wicked messenger falls into trouble, but a trustworthy envoy brings healing" (Proverbs 13:17).  At Envoy Financial, we know the importance of Trusted Advice and the role we play as Trusted Advisors to ministries around the world.  We take our partnership with these ministries seriously and consider it a privilege to work with the ministries we serve.

Unlike many other financial services providers, Envoy Financial has developed systems and programs to help ministries and their employees with on-going service.  From assistance with plan design through to annual account reviews, Envoy Financial provides service to ministry leadership and ministry staff.  For more information on Envoy Financial and how we provide Trusted Advice Along The Way, please view The Difference, a short presentation that outlines our service delivery model, key distinctions, and introduces some of our staff.
