Bruce Bruinsma, CEO & Co-Founder
Bruce brings more than 25 years of professional benefits, investment and management experience to his position as Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley (MBA), Bruce consults with Christian organizations and ministry professionals on a national and international basis about retirement and benefit plans. He is also a sought-after presenter for seminars to associations and industry groups. His heart for the message of Biblical Financial Stewardship began when Bruce became aware of the considerable need missionaries and other Christian workers face to provide for a lifetime of ministry where the paycheck stops. Bruce and his wife, Judy, reside in Pasadena, California. |

Bethany Palmer, Executive Director & Co-Founder
As Executive Director, Bethany brings over 18 years experience in the financial services industry, having counseled over 1,200 Christian Ministry Professionals. A graduate of Westmont College, Bethany's passion for ministry began when she recognized the need of pastors for solid financial counsel. She has a thorough knowledge of biblical financial stewardship and is committed to providing resources to Christian Ministries. She and her husband Scott recently wrote Cents & Sensibility: How Couples Can Agree About Money. The Palmers reside in Colorado Springs with their two sons. |

Scott Palmer, LifeStage Director
Scott brings ten years experience in the financial services industry and a heart for the message of biblical financial stewardship. Scott has a bachelor's degree in Aviation Administration from the University of North Dakota and has obtained the Certified Retirement Specialist and Certified Senior Advisor certifications. Scott currently functions as the LifeStage Director, giving leadership to the financial planning team, as well as working with hundreds of ministry professionals around the world. Scott enjoys travel and spending time with his family. Scott is married to Bethany and they live in Colorado Springs with their sons, Cole and Cade.

Dave McHenry, CMO Service Manager
Dave joined Envoy Financial as the CMO Ministry Services Manager in 2003. His education includes undergraduate degrees in Culinary Arts and Business Administration. Dave and his wife, Wendy, have one daughter, Sara. He enjoys competitive cycling, camping, mountaineering and climbing. It is Dave's personal desire to be in the center of God's will with respect to all of his endeavors.

Dale DeMarchi, Marketing Manager
Dale was born and raised in Canada, met his wife Suzzie while living in California and now lives in Colorado Springs with Suzzie and their two sons, Nathaniel & Bryant. He has worked in marketing all his professional life in corporate and ministry settings.
When not working, Dale enjoys hiking, dates with Suzzie, being a dad, worship, leading groups at his church, and trying to play guitar.

Robert Comstock, IT Manager
Robby joined the Envoy team in January 2006 as the IT Manager and was a contractor for a year prior to coming on board full time. He has a computer science and engineering background including 15 years of customer service experience and 5 years of technical support experience.
When not at Envoy, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Jackie, their three kids, and camping and fishing in beautiful Colorado.

Bill Ying, Accounting Manager
Born in Guang Zhou, China, Bill moved to the United States to pursue the American Dream in 1989. He studied International Business at Cal State in Los Angeles, California. He enjoys carpentry and woodworking in his home workshop. He resides in Arcadia, California with his wife and two daughters.

Stephan Archer, LifeStage Specialist
After college, Stephan began a journalistic career that led him from being a staff writer reporting political news at small conservative online newspapers to working in the California Legislature as a press secretary and then as chief of staff for a California assemblyman. He then worked with Thrivent Financial for 3 years as a financial representative and now brings that experience to the Envoy Financial team. He is thankful for the opportunity to serve Christian professionals with their financial planning needs.
Having recently relocated to Colorado, when not working, Stephan is usually spending time with his wife, Jill, and their 2 young daughters.

Joe Arant, LifeStage Specialist
Joe was born and raised in Denver and earned his B.S. in Management from the University of Colorado at Denver. He met his wife in Tennessee in after moving there to work in the Christian Music Industry. With more than sixteen years of professional experience, Joe holds multiple insurance licenses, is a Registered Representative, and earned his Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) in 2001. He is honored to be on the Envoy Financial team serving Christian Ministry Professionals.
Joe is married to wife Laura and has three wonderful daughters Megan, Emily, and Amanda. Joe enjoys time with family, golf, hiking, movies and enjoying the God-given beauty held in the mountains of Colorado.

Hunter Willis, LifeStage Specialist
Hunter was born and raised in small town Milford, Delaware and headed to the mountains of Colorado in 2002 after spending two years on staff with the Navigators at The Ohio State University. He worked about three years as a financial advisor for a national firm before moving to Envoy Financial.
In his spare time, Hunter enjoys reading, writing, speaking at Toastmasters, camping, racquetball, and acting with his comedy improv group “Stick Horses in Pants.” Don't bother Hunter when Clemson, his alma mater, is playing football though - just trust us on this one.

Jeff Gater, CMO Sales Specialist
Jeff brings more than 20 years of professional financial services experience to his role on the Envoy team. His education includes a bachelor's degree in Management from Simpson College and a Master of Nonprofit Organization Management through Regis University. Working as an advisor to churches, nonprofit groups and ministry staff members has helped him develop a strong desire to educate and equip fellow Christians for their stewardship journey.
Jeff and his wife Sherry enjoy travel, music, hiking together in the mountains, and spending time with friends and family.

Aaron Nelson, CMO Ministry Support Specialist
Aaron spent five summers working with Wheeler Mission Ministries Camp Hunt. He started out as the Archery Instructor nick named Robin Hood and also worked his way up to the Instructional Staff Supervisor position. Aaron double-majored at Indiana Wesleyan University in both Marketing and Business Administration. He also worked for the Admissions office there for two years.
Aaron Grew up in Greenwood Indiana, a suburb of Indianapolis. Aaron is a true Hoosier. He watches the Colts every weekend and enjoys the game of basketball and of course The Indiana Pacers are his favorite team. Now that Aaron lives in Colorado, he plans to take in some skiing, mountain biking, and hiking.

Rachel Gray, CMO Ministry Service Specialist
Rachel came to Envoy Financial as a part time receptionist 3 years ago, not knowing anything about the financial field. She is now a securities-registered member of the Ministry Services Team.
Apart from work Rachel is a wife of 5 years, and also the proud mother of a beautiful 4 year old princess and a new son.

Sara Wannamaker, Executive Assistant
After completing 2 years of college, Sara spent the last few years traveling around the world, interning at a non-profit leadership school, and working in administrative positions in Colorado and Washington. Sara came to Envoy in 2004 after relocating back to Colorado Springs (her hometown) from Seattle, WA. In addition to assisting the Executive Team at Envoy, she is finishing up her Bachelor's degree. When not working, she can often be found pursuing her interests of photography, travel, and generally being charming everywhere she goes.

Katie Atkinson, Ministry Service Specialist Manager
Katie joined Envoy in the Spring of 2005 after working with a ministry in Northern Colorado. She grew up in Muncie, Indiana, has a Business Management degree from Ball State University, and holds her Series 6 Securities License.
Katie has a heart for people, whether it's going on short term mission trips to working with youth at church. When not working, she enjoys learning about different cultures, hiking, camping, and traveling.

Holly Kraftson, Ministry Support Specialist
Holly grew up in Carrollton, Texas and attended Wheaton College where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and met her husband. In the last four years Holly and Tim have lived in various states as Tim served as an Armor officer in the U.S. Army. Holly joined Envoy in the Summer of 2006 and is looking forward to calling Colorado Springs home for years to come. She has her Series 6 Securities License and is enjoying building her financial knowledge. When she’s not working, Holly likes to spend time with family and friends, shop, and take on art projects.

Sharon McCann, Ministry Support Specialist
Sharon was born and raised in a small town in Upstate New York. She moved to San Antonio where she started a long career with a large insurance company. She attended San Antonio College majoring in Business Administration. When a position in the Customer Accounting Department in Colorado Springs opened, Sharon jumped at the opportunity.
Sharon has been happily married to Jim for 12 years, and is very active in her church. Her hobbies include cooking, collecting recipes and cookbooks, gardening, houseplants, crafts and walking.

Marian Fitzwater, Ministry Support Specialist
Marian was born in Maryland, worked for the NSA in Germany and traveled to Egypt before calling Colorado home. One of her favorite sayings is "a day in the country is worth a month in the city." She joined Envoy in 2004 and enjoys skiing, reading, stitching, cooking, and living in the mountains. |
