Online Enrollment

For most ministry organizations, all of the staff is in one or a couple of locations in the United States.  When implementing a retirement plan, we often provide an on-site or web-based enrollment presentation to your staff and follow that with a one-on-one telephone enrollment appointment with one of our LifeStage Specialists.

For mission-sending organizations and other ministries with staff dispersed around the country or around the globe, we have developed a system to provide both the enrollment presentation and retirement plan enrollment function online. 

The enrollment presentation combines a PowerPoint presentation and video by Bruce Bruinsma, our CEO, providing a consistent message to all missionaries.  This allows missionaries around the globe to access the enrollment presentation and receive the same quality presentation as your domestic staff.

The online enrollment feature allows your overseas employees to enroll into the retirement plan as follows:

  1. Provide basic contact information including privacy preferences for those in sensitive locations
  2. Designate primary and secondary beneficiaries
  3. Determine their risk tolerance and investor profile
  4. Select investment options as provided by your retirement plan design
  5. Request additional assistance; and
  6. Print a summary

All information provided by online enrollees is reviewed by a licensed financial representative to help ensure suitability of investments, etc.

The information provide through the online enrollment process allows us to generate the necessary paperwork for the investment choices.  We then send that information, depending on their contact and privacy preferences, by password-protected email to the missionary for signing and return to us.
